AKB, København - your housing organization

AKB, København is a non-profit housing organization with more than 8000 homes all over Copenhagen. AKB, København is owned by the tenants in the housing organization, which means that no one can profit from the rental. The rent is fixed so it covers the expenses with running the estates. Furthermore non-profit estates are managed by an estate committee, which is elected by the tenants.

What is KAB?

KAB is a customer owned non-profit organization, which manages non-profit housing organizations. KAB is employed to manage the estates of AKB, København along with other housing organizations. KAB provides customer services to the tenants and housing applicants, which means that KAB is in charge of rent management and the waiting list among other things. This is why your rent is collected by KAB and the rental contract is sent by KAB.

Just like AKB, København, KAB is a non-profit housing organization owned by the different housing organization it manages.
